Windsor Castle Engagement Session - Brent & Meghan
/It is not a big surprise to those who know me that I really like my bubble. I live within two miles of work, ride my bike to the grocery store and rarely have to fill up my gas tank because I never have to drive my car very far. So when Meghan reached out to me for an engagement session at Windsor Castle Park, I was excited to finally break out of my normal shooting locations.
I drove through a crazy rainstorm on my way there and the whole time I was so sad that I was going to arrive to a giant field of mud but the storm magically missed Smithfield! When I pulled up to the property, I knew that it was the ideal location for Meghan & Brent's engagement pictures. She told me that she loved all things rustic and the red barns and vineyard trellises fit the bill perfectly.
Meghan and Brent met when they were 14 years old at church camp but were just friends. Fast forward four years and their lives intersected again but this time was the right time. They reconnected and after a month of talking, they finally went on their first date. He proposed two years later at the camp where they first met. I love a story that comes full circle! They are tying the knot in May of 2019 at the Women's Club of Portsmouth and I have no doubt that it is going to be a beautiful wedding and a beautiful marriage. Congratulations to the two of you - I cannot wait to see where your next big adventure takes you!
